How do you get a lot comments? Simple, just get a top commentator widget and there will be plenty of people who’d love to hit your blog… Usually those are spammers just trying to get out their name and website url, but actually, you can always delete those.
This month the top commentators settings have been changed on svensworld, only 3 spots left and lasting 1 month. It’s pretty sure that there will be still enough people trying to comment here, so why not give them a chance to actually do this with some competition. It’s pretty obvious someone is comment spamming when there are 3-4 comments in a row, yes sometimes there are people who discover your blog and read and start commenting, but it’s kinda obvious when they start or stop at a number where they enter the top commentators list.

How do you avoid being caught like this? EASY PEASY, just visit regularly, or even better, but a potential blog with a top commentators list in your feed reader, check for new posts and just… visit it once there is a new post on it. Oh and not to forget, put a little effort into the comments you place on a site, and use a nick that is suitable, from now on every comment including a brand name, or something like that will simply be altered / removed from here.

How do you produce killer content for your blog? First of all create a blog with a certain topic that people are interested in ! There is no better advise you can get. Create a blog about something interesting people want to read. That’s killer content. It’s not what you write, that’s some complete bullshit you will read everywhere. It’s just about writing about something people are interested in. The rest will come by when you do it - You will actually see what people like, what provokes comments, where people applaud you, keep on hitting those balls and grow your blog.

You can’t force it

Killer Content is something that happens, you can’t produce it on purpose unless you have something people want. It’s hard to talk people into something online. People do what they want and they want soft and easy entertainment or to share themself. Others want tech and product reviews, while others like to communicate and share their stories.

Screw what others think if you just want fun

That’s what is happening out there. Don’t bother about writing good stuff, it’s just an additional feature. Find a niche, find a topic people want. It’s like writing modern poetry, people like it, but it does not sell and make people rich. Write some fancy kids stuff and you might make a dollar. In case you want to do something for yourself, screw all of this advise and just do what you want. That’s the most fun thing you can do. Just do what you love and you might actually create something that people love for the sake of it. Just enjoy whatever you are doing and you might be remembered in the future.

What’s the first song I can recall pumping up the volume to the max? Well, that gotta be AC/DC Thunderstruck…. and to make things worse, I can still listen to them,… right now they are on tour in germany, well not right now, but next year and the tickets went on sale a few weeks ago. I checked for tickets the second day… SOLD OUT. When should I see them? I am not willing to buy tickets on ebay for at least double the money. Right now I am just pissed. Fitness resolutions are on of the most stupid things you can have. That’s a sidenote for me. In modern times, without the need to do a lot of physical activities in our everyday life we can let our physical conditioning slide very fast. Every blogger wants to be an authority on something nowadays. What happend to the good old “f’ck the authority” attitude that many young people had back in the days. Now everybody wants to know and tell something that seems to be right. At least for them.

Life is about making mistakes, messing around with your parents and having problems you have to solve on your own. That’s called life and you should be happy to live your life like you want to. Why should you be an authority on something? The internet sometimes preaches the authority of the mediocre. That’s not bad, but most people don’t have an unversity level of education on things. Just write about what you like and what you know, but unless you have studied it, make millions with it, or are simply a genius, don’t claim to be an authority. You may be good at something, you may have people following you, that still does not make you an authority. Well, at least not a real one like a gouvernment.

Why is it that the internet makes everyone think they can do everything they want to? It’s fine, but most people use the internet to browse for pictures of nekkid women, chat and waste time or simply to play games. Then there are the others who use it to make money, or have to use it because their job is related to it. Fine, that does not make you an authority.

Or do you think that you have to be an authority to have an opinion? Authority was always something I associated with police or the gouvernment. Nothing a single person can really have. At least that’s my twisted point of view. Start being an expert, that’s cool, leave out all those negative connotations associated with authority.

The world needs more experts, but more authority? You really think that?
